Butterfly Weft Extensions FAQs
Yes. ARIA extensions are 100% premium Remy human hair, which means no matting, tangling, or short hair returns. They can be heat styled up to 180°C (356°F), just like your natural hair.
We recommend a lift every 8–10 weeks, depending on your hair growth. This prevents matting, frizzing, and tangling, and keeps the extensions fresh and close to the scalp. Extensions can be reapplied up to 3 times, for a total of 6–8 months of wear, so the bond always stays seamless.
ARIA comes in 33 shades that can be blended to create over 500 custom colour matches. If your ideal shade can’t be achieved by blending, your stylist can deposit colour down 2 levels. We don’t recommend lightening extensions; for a more platinum blonde, a toner can be applied to shade 12N. All colour must be kept away from the adhesive bands, and colouring should take place 24–48 hours after application so the bands can seal firmly.
Please note: colouring the extensions voids their warranty.
To maintain the quality and longevity of your ARIA extensions, we recommend professional, sulfate-free, extension-safe haircare. Avoid products containing harsh sulfates, alcohols, or heavy oils at the bonds, as these can affect the integrity of the extensions. Your stylist will recommend the best products for your hair type and extension method.
